Alison Smith – Owner

Alison started Bareback Laundry in 2008 after recognising a gap in the local market. Alison has been involved with Horses for over 25 years having learnt to ride (properly) in her thirties. She supported both her children through Pony Club & BE and was chief cook, bottle washer, groom and chauffeur etc.
Now the children have flown the nest, Alison is enjoying doing more for herself, partaking in a little dressage on her Daughters old event Horse, Mario: “The Bareback Laundryman” They have even been know to leave the ground occasionally.

 

Helen Baker

Helen has worked with horses for most of her working life, coming down south from Yorkshire to work as a groom when she was just 17. She worked for the Old Duke of Marlborough as a hunt groom & Guy Avis, to name a few. Helen’s youngest daughter is a current member of the Bicester Pony Club.

Helen is a wizard on the sewing machine and her rug repairs are legendary!
